Sir John Blend The smoky taste of this blend come from fine quality Lapsang Souchong tea. Its well-balanced and somewhat dry bouquet makes it a perfect replacement for wine. Especially suitable for accompanying dishes such as smoked salmon or spare ribs, this tea could also be served cold. Serving tips: Good replacement for wine, especially to tasty, smoked or fat food. If served cold, honey or sugar (1-2 teaspoon per cup) should be added before the tea is cooled. In Sweden, we love to take smoked herring on crisp bread with butter, served with a hot cup of Sir John Blend. It can also be enjoyed with whiskey; try 3-6 centiliter whiskey to 1.5 dl Sir John Blend (hot) in a tumbler (cylindrical glass), add 1-2 spoons of sugar. Or just take it with together with a glass of cognac.
